Mamikon Yengibarian

A harmonious, effortless play of lines serves as the starting point for the formal experiments which Mamikon Yengibarian conducts in space. Yengibarian’s work abounds in elements, now concrete, now abstract, whose organic quality is accentuated by their palette, and the absence of flamboyant, strong tones. The artist’s forms create networks that hang and stretch in space in the semblance of wires and winding spirals, chaotic bundles of lines which enable the sculptor to express the complexity of human relations.
